The Family Future Timeline applies the same chronological-age calculation to several people at once. It is useful for questions such as “How old will my children be when I am 60?” or “How old will everyone be in 2040?”.
For each person, the tool compares the birth year with the selected future year. Because age changes on a birthday, it shows the two possible ages during that year rather than pretending one age applies throughout the year.
